Niagara’s Shaw Festival returns this year, bringing with it the puppet show “A Short History of Niagara.”
The show is created and performed by Mike Petersen and Alexandra Montagnese and directed by Tim Carroll. It runs through August 15.
The play hits all the highlights of the history of the region, while being nonverbal.
In spite of not speaking, the puppeteers cover the Maid of the Mist, going over the falls in a barrel and the Shaw Festival itself.
